As the Assembly Member for the Caerphilly Constituency it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to my Assembly Website. I hope it will be useful and informative. The aim of this site is to make it your site by helping to serve the Caerphilly Constituency.

Map of Caerphilly and Jeff Cuthbert As your Assembly Member and Penpedairheol resident, I make it my business to listen to the ideas of local people about what should be done to improve our lives. I do not claim to have all the answers but I am committed to doing all I can to help.

As well as having a full-time office based in Gilfach, I hold regular surgeries in community halls and local supermarkets throughout the constituency. Please click on the surgeries link to find out more.

This site aims to let you know what I am doing to in the Assembly and the Caerphilly constituency. Click on About the Assembly to find out about Wales’ newest democratic institution.

Since its creation, the National Assembly for Wales has become the nation’s forum for debate and action. Welsh citizens are now able to closely scrutinise the decisions that are taken in their name. Key decisions on a wide range of issues are taken at the Assembly’s home in Cardiff Bay. Issues concerning health, education, employment, housing, environment and transport- to name but a few- are all decided upon here in Wales. I hope that this website will provide another forum for discussion and a point of contact for constituents of the Caerphilly constituency to get involved or-simply- stay in touch.
